Sometimes you have good times sometimes bad times. Now I'm going through one of the shittiest times I've ever had. I haven't been training properly since the beginning of November when I ended the long season and took 2 weeks off. When I wanted to start training again an ilness came and it took me almost 2 weeks to get back to training. My enthusiasm didn't last very long. After one week of training I suddenly had some pain in my knee after the training and my plans of training camps with Kalevan Rasti were all gone. I was working out hard but I just blocked my back and started falling apart. Big thanks to Urpo and Anders Åkerman who tried to help me. I was depressed things didn't go as well as planned but I was excited to come back home for Christmas with all it takes - a lot of cross-country skiing, well deserved meals, sleeping a lot, some studies and forgetting about (and solving) my knee problems. Therefore I almost went mad when I fell ill on the Christmas day and was dealing with the illnes until now.

And then, a few days ago, I realized my problems are so tiny and insignificant comparing to the real problems. It is stupid I needed such a bad thing to happen to stop being so desperate about my situation. Now I know I just need to be patient and to work hard and I can easily deal with my little problems and get back to the fun I do - Orienteering.

I believe Kody will win his real life fight. He has always been a strong beast and he will make it. He has a long way ahead and needs lot of positive energy but I believe the important good times must be coming soon..
