The same time of the year, the same places but completely different goals. Last year I was training as hard as possible in beautiful terrains of Portugal. This year I came here to get back to normal training. So far so good, my knee is getting better everyday, body and soul feeling fine. I haven't been running in true terrain since the end of November so I try to listen to my body and take it easy although my head would love to run as fast and as long as possible.
The weather is not as warm as expected, especially when you decide to have a training on a very nice map but don't check that it is 1600m above sea level.

There is some shining thing in the sky. They say it is sun. I don't know it from Finland but it feels good.

Beloved Arcozelo terrain. Last year I ran here one of the best races in the season - 3rd place in the last stage of POM just 2:25 behind Thierry. This year I made the first night orienteering of the season and 1 multitechnic easy training. Still impressed by this place.
We are training with Kalevan Rasti guys in the hilly Viseu area till Friday. Then we will move to the seacoast where we run Portugal O-meeting in sand dunes area of Mira and Vagos.
